Professional development plan or career plan

Professional development plan or career plan

Before I was enrolled to this course known as Education, to be specific Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Social Studies. I asked myself: Why be a teacher? Since elementary I was attached to my teachers, they treat me as their own daughter. When I was high school student I inspired to take education course because my student teachers then influenced me so. However, I really had a very unforgettable and worthwhile experience in my cooperating school. Even the students are naughty and very noisy, they opened my mind and heart to embrace teaching profession. I knew to myself that this profession will be my lifetime career after graduation. I want to see myself getting old being a teacher, but then again I want to fulfill my dream to experience other profession.

Moreover, after graduation I prefer to sign a one year contract. If there’s an opportunity to be a senior high teacher even I don’t have National Certificate then I will going to grab it. Also, I want to pass the board examination this coming September 2018 to enter the world of being a public teacher. And I will enroll myself in the graduate school to take up a Master’s Degree in Education (but I don’t know what is the better major for me) still in my alma mater in college which is Bulacan State University. There were so many plans and dreams that I want to achieve after I graduated, but I don’t want to mention because those stuffs are for case to case basis. I will not proceed to the next plan without accomplishing the previous ones. Like what the old adage says, “journey towards a thousand miles begins with a single step” I need to follow first the step by step process to become successful in life. Through the guide and help of the Almighty God and also by my sincerity I know that I can do all things. Dream high and believe to ourselves!
